Amen. We wouldn't recognize the goodness if we weren't used to the bad.
I think the trick is not only to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride, but learning to enjoy the bad putts, tough beef and dull job (thank goodness I don't have one!). And when you absolutely can't enjoy it, tolerance is good. Laughing at it may even be better.
